Description Position Summary The Human Resources Manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely and supports all levels of management in the AGG and Ready-Mix product lines. Provide professional human resources consultation in the support and execution of organizational and company policies, procedures and programs. Provides resources and enhances positive workforce culture through interpersonal relationships. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
hourly and salary recruitment, salary planning, employment law compliance, new hire onboarding for both hourly and salary positions, HRIS, employee relations, HR policy training, and affirmative action. Requirements Works with plant management to develop staffing plans, sourcing/recruiting strategies, and employment advertising. Responsible for leading/coordinating recruiting efforts. Coordinates onboarding/orientation efforts including all pre-employment screening processes. Monitors compensation management, performance evaluation, talent development and succession planning process Effectively interpret guidelines and regulations for EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, MSHA, DOT, FRA, Affirmative Action, Worker's Compensation and other employment, corporate and labor laws. Will act as resource for employee questions regarding employee relations issues, benefits, Company policy, and other work-related topics. Responsible for investigations of employee complaints, ethics hotline calls, and other issues related to employment. Mediates disputes. Works closely with management to determine employee disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans. Ensures compliance with all employment related Federal, State and Local laws/regulations, as well as Company & business unit programs. Responsible for active support of activities which will establish and maintain a world-class safety program that promotes an injury-free work environment. Support safety efforts by participating in safety meetings, safety audits and plant observations. Participate in root cause analyses and incident/injury investigations Performs administrative tasks necessary to ensure all above duties and functions are performed successfully. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline strongly preferred. 5-7 years of HR generalist experience; preferably in an industrial setting SHRM CP or SCP, SPHR or PHR preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work effectively with managers and employees at all levels of the organization. Good working knowledge of state and federal legislation/regulations relating to employment, such as DOT, FRA, ADA, EEO, ADEA, FMLA, etc. Some safety experience strongly preferred. OSHA/MSHA and/or DOT experience a plus. Knowledge and experience with Workers' Compensation, unemployment regulations and other employment related state law strongly preferred. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to communicate in a courteous and professional manner with employees, management at all levels, contractors, customers and others as needed. Effective presentation skills for formal and informal meetings -both with hourly and management employees. Must possess strong skills at prioritizing activities. Positive, assertive, and persuasive can do personality and communication style. Ability to direct, motivate, coach and influence the activities of others. Ability to exercise sound judgment in problem solving. Strong analytical and computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Excellent work ethic - high standard of performance and production Some overnight travel required. Physical Requirements Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds from ground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity. Requires standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, bending and stooping, (all for up to 8 hours a day). Must be able to drive. Must have the physical ability to use a PC and cell phone. Most work time is spent in an air-conditioned office environment. Some work takes place in a plant or jobsite environment, often outdoors, in all weather conditions -heat, cold, wet or dry. May have exposure to cement, concrete, dust, sand, gravel, admixtures, diesel exhaust, various lubricants, etc. (See MSDSs). Compensation:
Starting at 105,000+. Wages depend on skills, knowledge and experience.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
